Challenge
The project required a clear set of deliverables — invitation + RSVP cards, flyers, programs, brochures, signage and social ad. All needing to capture a dual tone of elegance and whimsy. My task was to craft campaign visuals that communicate brand alignment, boost engagement, and elevate attendance.
Ideate
I explored and researched circus-inspired visual motifs, ensuring they felt dignified and celebratory. I developed original designs that include – custom illustrated logo and graphics, refined typography, a rich but playful color palette, and a unique invitation design to evoke both sophistication and fun.
Prototype and Test
Once concept ideas were approved, I crafted rough mockups of all collaterals, and collaborated with the foundation’s Executive Director to gather feedback on tone, layout, copy and theme consistency. Iterations focused on refining copy information, visual hierarchy, and spacing. After refining mockups, I provided high fidelity prototypes for a more realistic visual of the final designs. Once finalized, the designs were formatted and launched for print, web and social ads.
Results
The campaign achieved greater engagement and attendance compared to previous years, reinforcing the effectiveness of my design direction. It demonstrated that thoughtful, theme-driven design can elevate both brand presence and event outcomes. The stakeholders were enthusiastic about the results, declaring it as their most favored design. The boost in attendance reflect the success of this design iteration and acceptance.
